Application Guidelines

Please review the guidelines before submitting your application.

The Rudolph Canzater Scholarship is a need-based scholarship. Spring 2026 graduating high school seniors are eligible and encouraged to apply. In addition to the list below, applicants must demonstrate a financial need.

Applicant must:

• Complete the application in its entirety by Friday, May 29, 2026 before 11:59pm.
• Be a resident of the Sixth Congressional District of South Carolina or attending a college, university, or technical school in the Sixth Congressional District.
• Be a Spring 2026 graduating High School senior entering as a first-time freshman at a college, university, or technical school in the Fall 2026
• Must provide an accurate email account.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must submit proof of household income.
• Must submit an official high school transcript.
• Must submit a college, university, or technical school acceptance letter.
• Must submit a 4×4 professional headshot photograph.
• Must submit a 500-word essay detailing career goals, indicating how this scholarship will assist with meeting these goals.

All applications must be submitted online ONLY and due on Friday, May 29, 2026 before 11:59pm.

All applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and a decision letter will be sent via email.
